Triangle Petroleum is an energy holding company. Co.'s principal lines of business are: oil and natural gas exploration, development and production; oilfield services; and midstream services. Co. conducts these activities in the Williston Basin of North Dakota and Montana through its two principal wholly-owned subsidiaries and its joint venture. Co. has two reportable operating segments: exploration and production operating segment, and oilfield services operating segment. As of Jan 31 2016, Co. had 48.9 million barrels of oil equivalent of proved oil, natural gas liquids and natural gas reserves.
