Nuveen California Municipal Value Fund 2 is a closed-end management investment company. The Fund seeks to provide current income exempt from both regular federal and California state income taxes by investing primarily in a portfolio of municipal obligations issued by state and local government authorities within the state of California or certain United States territories. Under normal market conditions, the Fund invests at least 80% of the sum of its net assets and the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes in municipal bonds that pay interest that is exempt from regular federal personal income tax and California's personal income tax. | |
