Maine & Maritimes is a holding company. Co. maintains investments in a regulated electric transmission and distribution utility and an unregulated utility services company. Co.'s subsidiary, Maine Public Service Co. (MPS), is a regulated electric transmission and distribution utility serving Aroostook County and a portion of Penobscot County in northern Maine. MAM Utility Services Group (MAM USG), another subsidiary of Co., provides utility-related services on projects that MPS could not or would not be required to provide under State and Federal regulations. MAM USG focuses on areas such as transmission infrastructure, utility asset maintenance contracts and other utility-related services.
